Job Description: Perform routine maintenance on courses and learning components across various modalities. Collaborate with Sr. Instructional Designer (SID) and clients to design training content, define objectives, course structure, and assessments. Analyze existing content and training tasks thoroughly. Develop learning materials following company standards, including presentations, guides, activities, scenarios, and assessments. Create graphics, interactions, and simulations. Write clear instructions suitable for the target audience. Conduct virtual meetings with subject matter experts for task analysis, content validation, and review. Engage with SMEs for ongoing review and feedback incorporation. Manage tasks and deadlines proactively, communicating issues as they arise. Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in instructor-led, eLearning, or virtual training in a technical setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in the utility industry training. Technical writing expertise. Knowledge of ADDIE, adult learning theory, and instructional design methodologies. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Articulate. Ability to handle multiple development efforts simultaneously. Highly Desired: Knowledge of Questionmark, Author-it, Honeycomb, learning portals. Experience with technical training. Comfort working in a high-performance team with strong communication skills.
