Responsible for general machining, fabrication, and production mold repair. Job performance includes evaluating and troubleshooting nonconformity of production molds to correct flow issues, setting up and operating machine shop equipment, using machinist tools and equipment proficiently, scheduling and completing projects in a timely manner, applying written and verbal design concepts or instructions to complete projects, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, operating an overhead crane, driving a forklift, and obtaining FM Forklift Certification. Meets or exceeds established manufacturing goals, maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality, and is willing to accept and receive supervision, instructions, and perform other duties as assigned. Physical requirements include the ability to work with appropriate tools and equipment, mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, and strength and grip requirements necessary to frequently manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs, specific vision abilities, wearing safety glasses and hearing protection, and working in varying temperatures.
