Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in and around Sun Valley, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range for $20-26/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Mechanical Assembler eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!
Job Scope:
Assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems
Use hand tools to install block-off plates, lids, and components
Operate ball valves to fill and pressurize systems to 10 PSI
Observe for pressure drops and inspect for leaks
Wipe off residual water from systems during testing
Tilt and move sheet metal boxes (30–70 lbs) during water filling to release trapped air and inspect welds
Requirements:
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches
Able to read and follow technical drawings and schematics
Physically able to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs
Strong attention to detail when performing leak and pressure checks
Must be comfortable working outside under a shade tent
Work boots will get wet—bring multiple changes of socks
Rubber boots will be provided once available
