Job Description

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Medical Device Product Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Product Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team supporting innovative medical device projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Device Product Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX (hybrid)

Pay Range: $25 to $35 p/h w-2 
Duration: 12 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Lead design efforts under the guidance of Senior Engineers on design change initiatives.
• Oversee execution of project deliverables as assigned.
• Interface with various departments to drive projects forward.
• Work with the V&V department to create testing protocols and verification documentation.
• Conduct and participate in brainstorming sessions to identify creative ideas and unique solutions.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• 3 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
• Experience in regulated design environments, specifically medical device development.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.
