A warm and welcoming private family located in New York, NY (Upper West Side) is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Nanny to join their household. They value flexibility, reliability, and a long-term commitment to becoming part of their family’s daily rhythm
Children: Two school-aged children
Pets: None
Household Staff: Full-time housekeeper employed
School pickup and transportation to afternoon activities
Oversee childrens routines: baths, homework, and evening wind-down
Prepare dinner for the children daily
Tidy the kitchen after children’s meals and again after parent’s meals
Maintain a flexible schedule, including staying late occasionally if parents are out
Light housekeeping as it relates to the children (laundry, dishes, tidying)
Assist with occasional errands (e.g., post office, dry cleaners)
The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a smooth after-school routine. They should be warm, communicative, and enjoy working in a team environment alongside other household staff. Flexibility is key, as is the ability to pitch in wherever needed. The family values a long-term relationship and welcomes a nanny who is looking to grow with them for years to come. The family value someone who is highly organized and enjoys organizing a home. Someone who can keep tabs on household inventory and keep lists of supplies!
Prior experience in a similar nanny role within a private household
Excellent references
Legal to work in the United States
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Fluent in English
Work Hours: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $35/hour
Living Accommodations: Live-out
Vacation: 2 Weeks Vacation (over lap w/ family)
